Habibi Ramadan πŸ’žπŸ’œπŸ˜

Asalamun alaykum ☺️☺️

Habibi Ramadan would soon arrive πŸ’žπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ

This month is very special to me so I have to give it all it deserves πŸ™ˆπŸ’–

Also, this is a month of self improvement & I need that too 😒

So I’m staying off irrelevancies (like social media )😐

Yes, no WhatsApp , Twitter or whatever . I’ll be totally devoted to making the best out of this month, in sha AllahπŸ‘Œ

Below is something I wrote last year to say on assembly in school πŸ™ˆ

Funny enough , the school counsellor- who isn’t a Muslim – didn’t mind .
He was even giving me additional points πŸ‘€

Unfortunately ,I was unable to present it . Why ? Allahu a’lam .

πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

“O ye who believe ! Fasting is prescribed to you , as it has been prescribed to those before you , so that you may attain piety ” suratul Baqarah vs 183

Ramadan is a month of sacrifice & struggle. It is a month where Allah wants our time , health , wealth & our whole being .

It’s just one month…… Can we not live one month solely for our creator⁉️

So what if we have to sacrifice our sleep & luxuries that we can do without anyway πŸ˜•
As the saying goes, No Pain, No Gain .
Allah will definitely reward us in this world & the next accordingly πŸ‘Œ

The real purpose of fasting is to attain righteousness. A person who undergoes hunger & thirst , but does not behave righteously, has done nothing 😒😰

The essence of worship is supplication to Allah . This whole month, Allah is willing & readily open to accept all that we ask of Him.

It is only to our loss & detriment that we lack in begging Allah for the things we need .

Prioritize your supplications . Ask for yourself, your family , your community , state, country & the world at large ☺️

Within that, prioritize and ask for things pertaining to the Hereafter & then things pertaining to this world πŸ˜ƒ

The month of Ramadan isn’t like any other month, its purpose is to rid man of those bad habits he has accumulated throughout the rest of the year .

It is a month that prepares man for the remaining months by teaching him discipline and self-control .

Allah(subhanahu wa ta’ala) has made some acts beloved to man, like eating, drinking & fulfilling one’s desires , Haram.

If man can control these desires for a month, which are usually permissible to him ,then surely he can control himself from other desires which are not permissible throughout the remaining months πŸ’―πŸ‘Œ

The month of Ramadan is a month of reformation , self reflection , where a believer can ponder over spirituality & piety and bring a change for the better πŸ‘Œ

The Prophet(SAW) was reported to have given a sermon in the last day of Shaban “… The month of Ramadan comes with its mercies , blessings & forgiveness . Allah has decreed this month as the best of all months. While fasting , remember the hunger & thirst on the Day of judgement. Give alms to the needy respect your elders, guard your tongue , your eyes & your ears ”

Ali, the cousin of the Prophet (SAW) asked, ” what are the best deeds during this month?”

The Prophet replied” the best of deeds during this month is to be far from what Allah has forbidden ”

Read the Quran because it is the month of the Quran .

Pray in the 3rd part of the night.

Do not fight, curse, backbite, keep malice.

Give alms to the needy .

Subhanallahi , May Allah make it easy for us .

Also , I’ve been telling everyone to make a dua list & self-improvement list for Ramadan.

For the dua list, all you want from Allah ,write it down & ask for them everyday in this blessed month πŸ’–

For self-improvement list, things you want to improve about yourself . Semantics πŸ˜’

Okay, I really wanted to have a post about the virtues of Ramadan but alas, I won’t be doing that .

But here are links to go read it up πŸ‘‡
